The game carried on to be a bit soppy but Rugby managed to keep possession. After a water break, Rugby came back in better form. After a quick corner from Beth and Bailey, Beth was able to cross the ball in for Lexi to head from the back post, making it Lexi’s first goal for the club! Having gone 2-0 up, Rugby were making decent passes and keeping hold of the ball well. Rugby were awarded a free kick which Beth took from the edge of the box and scored to make it 3-0. Just before half-time, Cammie ran onto a through ball and made it 4-0 to Rugby.
