Cardiac Screening Comes to Kilsby Lane

Rugby Borough Women FC is bringing professional cardiac ECG screening to the club, giving players, staff, families and the wider community the chance to check their heart health without leaving the ground.
Sudden cardiac conditions can affect anyone, of any age, including young and seemingly healthy athletes. This isn’t just for footballers. It’s for parents, grandparents, coaches and anyone in our community who wants peace of mind.
What’s involved:
- A quick, painless ECG using a medical-grade, single-use patch
- Carried out in a private, clinical-grade setting at Kilsby Lane
- Full analysis by a UK Consultant Cardiologist
- A formal report sent to you within 7 days
This sits alongside the ongoing partnership between the Women & Girls section and OurJay, whose defibrillator support and CPR guidance already feature on every match shirt. Screening is another step in the same direction: making sure our club is doing everything it can to protect the people in it.
Booking is open now, with more dates to be added from September. Slots are limited and booked in two steps:
- Buy your slot for through our shop
- You’ll then be sent a link to choose your 15-minute appointment time
Pricing depends on your connection to the club, with subsidised rates for players and a small surcharge for community bookings.
