Kudee Ltd announced as new sponsor for Rugby Borough WomenFC

Cyber security firm joins forces with Borough to champion women’s football and community
growth.
Rugby Borough Women FC are delighted to announce a new partnership with Kudee Ltd, a leading cyber security and data protection company, as an official club sponsor.
Founded by Olu Olabiyi, Kudee Ltd has been operating for five years, providing comprehensive data protection and cyber security support for small and medium-sized businesses, while also working
with larger organisations.
The company’s niche lies in helping local enterprises strengthen their data security and risk
management, offering tailored solutions to meet specific needs.
Highlighting what makes Kudee Ltd stand out, Olabiyi believes the company’s bespoke approach and commitment to clients sets it apart from competitors.
“We are trying to stand out and I would say our unique selling point is we tailor our services more. Other firms give you off the shelf support, for example if you’ve got a data breach, they will just tell you what you need to do, but we come in and try to understand the risk of what has caused that data breach. “We would then do a total risk assessment to understand how that risk has happened and in terms of aftercare, other businesses provide that service and charge you for that. But we don’t do that, we add that aftercare support to ensure a cyber incident doesn’t happen again, mitigating that future risk.”

The business owner also has a strong footballing background. The former semi-professional footballer recalled his early playing days and spoke on his connection with Borough’s current manager Lee Burch.
“I used to play for Lee Burch when he was starting his coaching days in Southampton. One day he saw me playing in the park and he said come play for me, so I used to play semi-professional standard. So, I do have a proper footballing background.”
The footballing connection, combined with a belief in the values of women’s football and community engagement, made Rugby Borough an ideal club for Kudee Ltd to collaborate with. Olabiyi reflected on the new one-year sponsorship deal.
He added: “I’ve been watching Rugby and looking at Lee Burch’s Instagram posts and I’ve seen his journey all the way as well. I think you can see the club is growing and after my conversations with Max Turner (Chief Operating Officer), it seems more like a family and a community club and that is something that Kudee Ltd is all about.
“We also sponsor other local teams in Crawley where we are based, and we want to be part of something big. We know women’s football needs more visibility as well and I’ve got two daughters who are crazy about football. I want to sponsor a club that has values and Rugby definitely has those.”
The sense of shared community purpose is something Kudee Ltd prides itself on. The company is deeply committed to giving back, regularly working with local councils and attending community events to promote cyber security awareness – particularly supporting vulnerable and elderly residents who may be at risk of scams or online threats.
The club’s strong community spirit and family-focused culture made Rugby an ideal fit for Kudee Ltd, whose values centre around connection, support, and local involvement.
Looking ahead, Olabiyi hopes this is just the start of a long and meaningful partnership between the two parties.
Olabiyi said: “I was buzzing when I saw that Rugby had beat Arsenal and I spoke to Max about it. For me it’s more personal than business orientated, as regardless I was always supporting the club before this sponsorship.
“I’m hoping it doesn’t stop here, regardless of who’s the gaffer or who’s running the club and I’m hoping we can build from there and hopefully we can provide support where needed and help the club get even bigger. We will be there to support and not just offering one-off support, we want it to be a continuous relationship.
“Based on the results, I’ve been really proud of the team and over the weekend I think the team were unlucky with the 2–2 draw. We’re hoping for more positive results and hope the club has a very successful season.”
The partnership marks an exciting step for both Rugby Borough Women FC and Kudee Ltd, uniting two organisations that share a passion for growth, innovation, and community spirit.
