Leicester Women’s & Girls U11 Yellow Division

Rugby Borough U11’s made the trip over to the now very familiar setting of Syston to play against a strong East Goscote team. Having played this same team in a friendly only last week the girls knew they were in for a tough match.

This team keep improving every week and this game was no exception. The defenders Connie, Lyra & Holly were strong in the tackle and limited the opposition to only a few chances whilst Freya was on hand to make several key saves throughout the match. The midfield of Evelyn, Amber, Ava, Imogen, Matilda & Leah worked tirelessly to close the opposition down and set up attacks of our own. Up front Anna & Anais showed some excellent play to create chances against a strong defence with the team finally getting a reward for all the hard work over the past few weeks.
