Founded in the 2020/21 season under the guidance of Coach Martin, this squad started as a fresh-faced group and quickly grew into a tight-knit, fiercely competitive team. Many of the original players are still going strong, forming the backbone of a side that now battles it out in the Leicestershire Women & Girls Platinum League.
With talent drawn from across the Midlands, the team thrives in a spirited, welcoming atmosphere. Fast forward to 2024/25 — Coach Oliver’s swan song before heading off to UCFB University. And what a finale it was: an unbeaten run, a League title, and the League Cup to top it off. Not a bad way to sign off.
Now, as the 2025/26 season kicks off, the reins pass to Coach Matt, with Coach Rosa stepping in as assistant. After such a standout year, the team isn’t resting on its laurels. Fuelled by ambition and grit, they’re setting their sights high and gearing up to compete at the top level once again.
