Rugby Borough Through to the Women's FA cup 5th Round

Rugby Borough Hit Six Past The Bees!
It was a comfortable 6 – 0 win for Borough away at the Hive against hosts London Bees in the 4th Round of the Women’s FA Cup.
Borough took the lead in the 23rd minute with Moncaster crossing the ball and it bouncing perfectly in front of an umarked Potts in the box, who calmly delivered Boroughs first goal of 2025.
Boroughs second goal came after Barton’s corner kick in the 27th minute. Received by Nixon in the box, who set it back to Wiseman, firing a shot into the bottom corner.
A comfortable 3rd goal came from Moncaster, who headed from a corner by Wiseman in the 42nd minute.
The first half concluded with a 4th goal From Nixon. Barton sent the ball over the top to Moncaster who cut the ball back to Nixon. Nixon who saw her initial effort bounce off the crossbar, made no mistake on the second attempt delivering into a empty net in 45+1 just before the whistle.


Inside the first 4 minutes of the second half, Moncaster dinks a ball forward, which was received by Rush. Too quick for the Bees defender, Rush slots in a 5th.
Finally, in the 84th minute, Shaw worked her way into the penalty area, crossing to an again unmarked Nixon who tapped in the 6th and final goal straight into an empty net.
The victory secures our FA Cup campaign into the 5th Round.

The draw for the fifth round will take place on Monday on the Women’s FA Cup YouTube channel.
