RBWFC Surprise visit to Eversfield Preparatory School

 

Eversfield Preparatory School started their day with a difference on Thursday, when Rugby Borough Womens FC first team players visited to deliver a school assembly to children in years 4, 5 and 6. 

Senior players Katy Morris, Karesha Iton and Bethan Roberts spoke to the pupils about womens football, their personal footballing journeys and the teams upcoming FA Cup 3rd Round game on Sunday 8th December at home.

The schools football team had an important game of their own that day, and were delighted to find that the first team players would also be visiting their team separately to hold a Q&A session as well as coaching their training session before the fixture, of which they secured a 2-1 win!
