Yas came through Sheffield United Girls Centre of Excellence, before playing for Doncaster Belles and then Concord University, where she picked up an impressive haul of accolades: Atlantic Regional Champion, a two-time Mountain East Conference title winner, DII National Top Scorer, First Team All American, Atlantic Region Player of the Year, a two-time MEC Offensive Player of the Year, and a five-time member of the MEC Tournament Team, alongside twice being named First Team Academic All American.
She went on to play for Nottingham Forest, winning the FAWNL North title and the FAWNL League Cup, before a spell at Derby County, and has since won the Birmingham County Cup with Rugby Borough.
Interesting fact: Yas is a small business owner, running her own personal training and football coaching business.
