Saskia was born and raised locally in Leicester. A defender, she started playing from the age of 5 and fell in love with being part of a team. She came up through Leicester City’s WSL academy, where she proudly won the WSL Plate, before leaving at 18 to join Rugby Borough.

Winning the Plate Cup at Leicester, being nominated for Academy Player of the Year, our result against Liverpool in the FA Cup, and winning the County Cup.
