journey
Malika was born and raised in Belgium, growing up with two football-mad brothers and joining in their games, mainly as a goalkeeper. It wasn’t until she moved to the UK in 2019, to study sport, rehabilitation and conditioning at the University of Northampton, that she found her way back onto a football pitch, first playing for her university team, then signing for Luton Town Ladies as a left-back.
In 2021, she joined Hashtag United’s Women’s team, and made an instant impact, scoring a hat-trick on her senior debut in a 7-0 win. She’s continued to develop as a forward ever since, before making the move to Rugby Borough.
