Eve Clarkson

Eve, a versatile defender, was born in Whalley, Lancashire, and came through the ranks at Blackburn Rovers, where she was part of a successful development team and made appearances on the fringes of the first team. She then moved to America to play for the University of the Incarnate Word, making 79 appearances and scoring five goals for the Cardinals, before returning to sign for Lewes FC Women. Eve joined Rugby Borough for the 2025/26 season and has been a huge part of Boroughs dominance in the 2025/26 season.

In her own words: “I’m a very aggressive and hard-working player, I’m definitely the player doing the slide-tackling and dirty work, but I’ve also grown my technical game a lot, and I’m very versatile.”
