Borough’s first league game of the season presented a mid-table clash against Liverpool Feds away at Jericho Lane.
The match began with both sides coming out strong, but it was The Feds who struck first in the 6th minute, which was swiftly dealt with by Petersen in goal.
Burch made an early substitution during stoppage in the 16th minute, bringing K. Morris in for Potts. The intent was clear from both teams. A fast and physical game, ultimately cancelling each other out. First half ended, 0-0.


The momentum shifted in the second half with The Feds ramping up the pressure. Their luck was tried in the 55th minute with a distance shot going wide of the goal.
