‘It is a new and a really enjoyable experience for me. All of the girls are so lovely and each have their own amazing personalities which makes it even more special. It is great to give something back to the volunteers that have done so much for me when I was younger.’

‘Over the sessions, my confidence has grown and I would recommend it to my team mates to do the same thing if they are ever given the opportunity. Rugby Borough Women and Girls FC is a wonderful community that I look forward to continuing be a part of for many years’. 

Long may it continue Maddie, we love having you around and so do the girls too. Maddie loves her football and has all of the skills to develop the younger girls with her knowledge. 

When Maddie isn’t playing football, she enjoys playing cricket for school and trampolining. She also plays piano but football is her number 1 of course!

She is also animal mad and has dogs, cats, fish and a snake at home.

Now Maddie is 14, she’s really looking forward to being able to do her referees course as soon as possible and will continue to be a very active member of RBWGFC. She’s always heavily involved with the club somewhere so if you see Maddie around the club, give her a shout and say Hi!
