ADVANCED TRAINING CENTRE
ABOUT THE ATC
Our Advanced Training Centre (ATC) is part of our professional female player pathway, providing girls with additional training and matches alongside their grassroots football.
Who is it for?
Girls aged 7 to 15 who have a keen interest in football and want to develop further.
We group the girls into the following age groups:
- U10s
- U12s
- U14s
All girls are required to trial to ensure the ATC is the right place for them to develop before they are invited to join.
HOW ARE PLAYERS DEVELOPED?
The ATC has a holistic approach to player development which includes:
- Technical & physical framework
- Long-term player development principles
- Providing and facilitating additional stretch and challenge opportunities for high performing players
- Psychological/social development support
- Education/lifestyle development support
She really enjoyed being coached by the players she comes to watch at the weekend”
What makes our ATC different?
We have a pro to pro mentality. Our advanced training sessions are delivered by the Rugby Borough Professional Women’s First Team football players themselves meaning elite training by women who currently play in the professional game.
This is a unique experience for young aspiring footballers, inspiring a lifelong love of football whilst elevating their individual football skills and game intelligence.
Players can play and train for other clubs alongside the ATC. It’s will supplement and enhance the players individual ability.
WHEN IS TRAINING?
All age groups train at the same time, in their age related groups, led by the women’s professional players.
When: Monday’s 5.30pm to 6.30pm (during term time).
Where: Training takes place at Kilsby Lane on 4G.
