Rugby Borough Female Pathway
Advanced
Talent centre
Our Advanced Training Centre (ATC) is part of the Rugby Borough female player pathway, providing girls with structured additional training and matches alongside their grassroots football. All sessions are delivered by Rugby Borough Women FC players, so every player learns from women currently active in the professional game.
About the girls ATC
Who is it for?
The ATC is open to girls aged 8 to 15 who have a keen interest in developing their football. All players trial before joining to make sure the programme is the right fit for them.
Players are grouped by age:
HOW ARE PLAYERS DEVELOPED?
The ATC takes a holistic approach to development, working across every part of a player’s game and wider wellbeing:
- Technical and physical framework, aligned with long-term player development principles
- Stretch and challenge opportunities for high-performing players
- Psychological and social development support
- Education and lifestyle guidance
"The progress my daughter made was very noticeable. She really enjoyed being coached by the players she comes to watch at the weekend"
Ross, u12s parent
What makes our ATC different?
Our sessions are delivered by Rugby Borough Women FC players themselves. These are women currently playing in the professional game, bringing real experience, insight and inspiration to every session.
This is a unique environment for young aspiring footballers. Players are not just being coached; they are training and learning from women they come to watch at the weekend. That connection makes a real difference.
WHEN IS TRAINING?
All age groups train at the same time, in their age related groups, led by the women’s first team players.
When: Monday’s 5.30pm to 6.30pm (during term time).
Where: Training takes place at Kilsby Lane on 4G.
