U18 Girls

The Rugby Borough Girls U18s team are a great group of girls who train hard and always play with a smile on their faces. The team was originated in 2015 but it was the 2018/19 season, as U13s, that the girls really come into their own winning the Leicester Green League at a canter with an amazing 16 wins, 1 draw and only 1 defeat gaining them the League Champions trophy.

Following promotion into the Yellow League as U14s, it looked as if they had met their match with two testing defeats at the start of the season, but as this team always does, they dug deep and went on an 8 game winning streak creating them a fighting chance for a top 3 finish before the season was abruptly ended in March.

The team is successfully coached by Anthony, who created a strong team ethic, ensuring training sessions are the right mixture of fun and hard work and the team are prepared for each team they face.

Consistently supporting the girls are their amazing supportive parents, regularly present at training and matches whatever the weather with Gina ensuring everyone knows when and where they should be (which is a job in itself 😀).
