Women's 16+ open training sessions extended
16th July 2020
Women’s 16+ open training sessions at Rugby Borough are to continue on Tuesday evenings and be extended throughout the month of July after a very successful campaign to boost female participation. After a fabulous 2 weeks of being back at safe training at Kilsby Lane we have seen more women wanting to play football than ever before, whether it be competitive and returning to playing or just coming down to Kilsby Lane for a friendly kick about with our over 30’s and just to keep fit.
We welcome all abilities and experience to the newest, freshest, friendliest and biggest women’s club in Rugby Borough.
If you are looking to get back into playing then come and join the only forward thinking women’s football club in the Borough. Ran by women for women.
Rugby Borough Women are an accredited FA Charter Standard Community Club, the pinnacle of the FA club pathway and its an achievement that we are very proud of. We are the biggest and best women’s football club in the Rugby Borough. Ran by a duly elected all female committee whose focus is on helping females who want to play, develop and grow the game from a female perspective and enabling each and every women or girl at Rugby Borough to reach their fullest potential and achieve their goals.
Based at one of the best female football facilities in the Midlands, we pride ourselves on having the cleanest and safest amenities with everything you need pitch side! Not everyone can boast a place like ours! New floodlit 3G pitches with pitch-side club house and toilets within easy reach (almost within touching distance), catering facilities, pitch-side tea bar, safe and proper parking spaces with disability parking closest, floodlit grass pitches and a 35 acre site with award winning grass pitches as far as the eye can see.
