Leicestershire Women & Girl’s U11’s Yellow Division

Rugby Borough U11’s welcomed Rugby Town to Kilsby Lane for a fine afternoon of football in the Autumn sunshine. 

The first half saw the team set up with a new shape and the girls settled in well with both teams playing some great end to end football. The defence of Lyra, Connie & Holly provided a great base for the attackers to push forward.

Some fantastic running from Anais, Anna & Evelyn paid off with the team creating lots of chances. Freya ‘De Gea’ once again lived up to her nickname making a string of top class saves.

The introductions of Emily, Amber, Imogen & Leah boosted the team and continued the good work whilst Ava worked very hard and made some excellent forward runs to keep the opposition on their toes.

Another improving performance against a very strong team. Well done girls.
