The girls who are challenging to win the league itself, knew they could not rest and there were goals for many of the team. Emme, Beth, Hattie, Tumi, Ella, Isla and Rosa all scored on the day and Goal Keeper Harriett who played outfield for the second half, also got on the scoresheet.

The defensive players Olivia, Katie, Sofia, Sharon, Ellie and Evie all battled hard to stop the GNG attacks and kept a clean sheet with great tackling and reading of the game. 

What the GNG girls lacked in experience they matched in heart as they battled until the very end with an admirable never give up spirit. They definitely deserved a goal which unfortunately hit the upright in the second half. The GNG goalkeeper also pulled off some amazing saves.

Next game is a title decider on the last day of the season, with Rugby Borough needing three points to be league winners.
