The Rugby Borough Girls really hit the ground running in this game, although in my opinion didn’t get out of second gear. Positioning was spot on, determination and end product was on point. A one sided affair for sure.

Hats off to Nuneaton who carried on going, the game got cut short and the girls enjoyed a penalty shootout!! Rugby Borough still being ruthless and Nuneaton still smiling!!!

 

Special mention to our young ref Grace Bell who again showed so much support and empathy for the players and was even on shoe lace duty.

 

Player of the match – Maia – This girl was that fired up and full of energy it wouldn’t matter who was in front of her!!!
