Jamie Tank also returns to the club having left due to work commitments. Being away all week and having only weekends with family was not working. That situation has now changed and he is fully committed to “Coming back and finishing the Job” at Rugby Borough.

Both will take up their positions immediately and will prepare the squad for the tough season ahead. Rugby Borough Football Club  wish them all the best on their return to the club.

The season will start with  6 games in a busy September with games kicking off on the 12th with a home game against GNP (Sports). On the Tuesday they travel to Friar Lane & Epworth and then hosting Cottesmore FC on the 19th. Monday the 21st sees a home league cup tie with Asfordby and then they visit Desford on the 26th and ending September with a home Monday night  floodlit league game with newcomers Fleckney Athletic.

Dan Elliott said that it is a tough month for the team and they need to be ready. We have an additional couple of weeks for game time and to target players who we want to be at this football club.
