MATCH REPORT

Khalsa vs Rugby Borough U12 Panthers

2nd October 2021

Clinical Panthers go top with win

Today Rugby Borough Junior Football Club Panthers travelled to Khalsa. With a depleted squad the boys put on a show. The score may seem completely one sided but Khalsa gave it a good go it’s just Panthers played some beautiful football.

Disciplined, hard working and clinical about sums them up!!

Luke found Victor on 5 mins to open the scoring, a few minutes later (8) Lucas then found Victor who was in clinical form smashing home number two.

Lucas was then provider again but this time Jack got his first goal of the season on the end of a cross (10). Then on 15 Ben’s shot was parried into the path of Liam who couldn’t miss.

24 minutes and there was no let up for Khalsa, a strong drive from Kyle ended up at the feet of Victor to slot home his hat trick. Just on half time, a great run from Ben was met by Victor again to smash home his fourth.
Rugby Borough FC U12 Panthers - POM
Panthers carried on where they left off, a long Kyle throw caused a mix up at the back and an own goal (38).
Two delightful passes from William on 46 and 48 set up Lucas and Luke respectively. And then on 52 the goal of the game, Ben screaming (literally :D) for the ball on the left, took it passed his opponent and passed to Kyle who squeezed an inch perfect ball to Jayden who scooped it over the keeper!!!

Fantastic display from Panthers, hats off to Khalsa who never gave in.

Player of the match – Victor – A handful for the defence, linked up well and was very clinical.

Captain next week – William – awesome at CB and then two amazing assists at CDM
